75 World Child Cancer volunteers organize beautiful Gala
Over 250 guests and 75 volunteers attended the World Child Cancer gala for children with cancer in low- and middle-income countries who are assisted by the twinning program of the Outreach team of the Princess Máxima Center in the fight against childhood cancer.
Bo Dijkstra (19) and Zara Matthiessen (18) are volunteering at the coat check. They tried to make World Child Cancer a top priority at school. Unfortunately, the Clinic Clowns were much more familiar to their fellow students. “It’s amazing that World Child Cancer cares for children far away and not only sends money but also trains doctors and nurses through the Outreach team of the Princess Máxima Center,” say Bo and Zara.
Jeroen van de Boom sang at the end of the Gala. Earlier, performances included by the young French violin talent Sora Lavorgna (10) and Emma Kok. The proceeds of € 375,620 are a fantastic result.
